Jeff, Jason and Jodi (along with her spouse Nate) are siblings who grew up with an annual “Up Nort” trip with

our parents. For over 5o years, we have rented cabins on lakes across northern Minnesota. When we began

renting a home on the Whitefish Chain in 2021, we fell in love with the beautiful water and many bays and

islands to explore, and we wanted to share our love for lake cabin vacations with others.

Wondering where the name Sunny Pancake comes from? Jodi and Nate’s dog, Sunny, was given the middle

name of Pancake by their kids. When we were brainstorming company names, someone threw Sunny Pancake

into the mix, and it stuck! We felt like it conveys the joy of brunch as the sun rises over the lake (likely just after

we’ve cut through the morning glass with the first slalom ski of the day).
